Robert has practised law for 25 years and became a partner with Butler McIntyre Butler in 1987. Robert practises extensively in commercial, civil and property litigation. He enjoys working with an immense body of law that requires skill, experience, expertise, poise and judgment to effectively administer.
Robert thrives in the competitive area of litigation, reaping rewards for his clients and bringing considerable job satisfaction for him as a legal practitioner.
Robert grew up in Smithton in Tasmania’s far North West before moving to Hobart to complete a combined degree in Law and Economics (Hons.) at the University of Tasmania.
Robert’s major clients include ANZ and CGU and a number of Tasmanian finance companies. He also takes mainland agency referral work from financial institutions and law firms which are generally commercial disputes.
Robert spends his weekends cycling and playing tennis with his wife and supporting his three children in their various artistic and sporting pursuits. |
