Peter is one of Butler McIntyre Butler's long standing legal practitioners. Peter specialises in business law, business transactions, estate planning, elder law and trusts. He became a partner in 1979.
Peter completed his legal training in Hobart gaining a Bachelor of Law through the University of Tasmania . He was admitted to the bar in 1976. Peter went on to study for a Masters in Commercial Law through Deakin University in 1999 and completed a Graduate Diploma in Managing Local Organisations through Melbourne University in 2006.
Peter has long been interested in protecting the assets of his clients and maximising his clients' personal superannuation wealth.
Peter provides advice to a number of high profile large and small Tasmanian business clients from the manufacturing sector, the service industry and farming. He also receives mainland agency referral work.
Peter is a member of the Taxation Institute of Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
When away from the office, Peter indulges in his passion for landscape photography, old-fashioned rose gardening and travelling. |
