Damien was admitted to the Supreme Court and Federal Court in 1996 and became a partner at Butler McIntyre & Butler in 2001.
Damien practices predominantly in commercial litigation along with personal injury work and franchise related work, working for both franchisors and franchisees.
Whilst born in Launceston Damien spent most of his childhood growing up in Hobart. He attended St Virgil’s College before graduating from the University of Tasmania in 1995 with a combined Arts/Law degree.
Damien works for a wide range of small to medium Tasmanian businesses and he enjoys fostering the generational link and supporting Tasmanian people through business and legal continuity. He also acts for a number of accounting firms and insurance providers and has developed particular expertise in franchisee/franchisor law.
Damien is a self-confessed sports fanatic into running, bike riding, skiing, football and cricket. Fortunately for his wife Megan, he enjoys travel and DIY house renovation. |
